Hacienda Isabella Wedding | MARCO & LARA

Last July 8, 2012 Marco Alcaraz & Precious Lara Quigaman said their “I Do’s” at Hacienda Isabella, Tagaytay. I’m blessed to have been given the chance to capture their wedding’s wonderful venue styling done by none other than Passion Cooks Catering – thank you, Maja for this great opportunity.

The theme of their wedding was Vintage-Travel. All over Hacienda Isabella you’d see rustic wooden signages leading the guests to different areas of the venue. Vintage items & travel photos of Marco & Lara were displayed in the cocktail area (Maja borrowed some of the items from me (vintage cameras) our grandmother & her friend Kelly {Spark + Twinkle} Events by Kathleen) – the cocktail area served as different photo stations – what a superb idea! The styling of the ceremony area was inspired by breaking dawn. Marco & Lara also opted for something creative and different walking a long plank aisle stretching the length of the pool. It was an emotional moment when she walked down the aisle.

I started shooting at 9 in the morning with the scorching heat of the sun! But believe me when I tell you – IT WAS WORTH THE TAN LINE hehehe! Scroll down a bit more and you’ll see why.

My Lola’s old bags

Veluzar’s old film Cameras (these were my Lolo’s Cameras)

Isn’t the set-up amazing? Take note, that was just the cocktail area… keep scrolling… hehehe

Giant luggage made of styrofoam – this is cute 🙂

Old doors and broken ceiling fan blades 🙂

Bite me not station

This is Marco & Lara’s breaking dawn inspired altar – amazing!

Flower girl’s kettle was provided by Passion Cooks

Lara wore a Veejay Floresca wedding gown. Lara’s bouquet & Marco’s boutonniere were made by Maja Martinez-Angeles of Passion Cooks.

Three kinds of table numbers

Flowers, flowers, flowers 🙂

Marco & Lara also had a candy station set up – the table was literally overflowing with candies! Yummy!
